Bulemba Rwenzori Ecovillage is a community-driven initiative working at the intersection of ecological conservation, cultural heritage preservation, sustainable tourism and local economic empowerment in the Rwenzori region of western Uganda.
Rooted in the values and traditions of communities living around the Rwenzori Mountains, the ecovillage promotes a development model where people, culture and nature thrive together. Our work seeks to transform local communities into active stewards of biodiversity while generating sustainable livelihoods.
