Robin Wood

Gewaltfreie Aktionsgemeinschaft für Natur und Umwelt

When Forests Are Not Negotiable

Robin Wood is known in Germany for a form of environmental activism that does not remain symbolic. From forest occupations to public interventions against fossil infrastructure, the organisation combines research, media strategy and non-violent direct action.

Our work is rooted in a clear stance: ecological destruction is not an abstract issue — it is happening now, and it requires visible resistance. Whether addressing deforestation, coal extraction, traffic policy or corporate greenwashing, Robin Wood steps into contested spaces and makes conflict explicit.

At the same time, we understand activism as part of a broader democratic culture. Civil courage, strategic disruption and collective presence become tools to shift public debate.

Not every initiative works quietly. Some choose to stand in the way.

Where systems refuse to change, interruption becomes a language.
